Includer: the Relationship Building strength for founders

If they're in the room, they're in the company.

What it is

A wide door. They notice who is left out and cannot stand it. Stretch the circle.

What it is not

Not Woo (winning a room). Not Harmony (peace). Not Developer (growing a person). Includer is access.

How it shows up in a founder

How this strength breaks the company

Superpowers in the company

Product

A brand that doesn't accidentally exclude the customer you already have. Broader catalog, better CS coverage.

People

Culture of belonging. Diversity that is operational, not a poster. Can bloat the org.

Money

Finds underserved segments. Weak at a premium offer that is supposed to be scarce.

Ops

Information wants to be shared. Great for all-hands. Risky for legal, HR, and M&A.

You, them, co-founder

If you have it

Stretch the circle on information. Keep the circle small on decisions. Write who decides.

If they report to you

Put them on community, CS, onboarding, internal comms. Don't put them in the room that has to stay small.

If they're a co-founder

They will stop you from building a club. You must still have a closed door sometimes — and tell them why.

Working rule

Everyone gets the context. A named few get the decision.

Ask this

Who did you bring in last month that made the work better — and who did you rightly keep out?

Hire beside them

Focus, Command, Deliberative, Discipline

Someone who will still close the door when the work requires it.

Tells

Looks at the empty chair. Asks who else. Uncomfortable with a tight invite list.

Stress tell

Bigger meetings. More voices. The decision dissolves.

Don't confuse with

Woo wins strangers. Harmony wants peace. Includer wants people in. Pair with Focus so the circle doesn't become a crowd.
