You, them, co-founder

If you have it

Time-box the risk review. Name the risks you will accept out loud. Careful without a date is fear.

If they report to you

Put them on contracts, quality, vendor selection. Don't make them the launch owner. Thank the catch in public.

If they're a co-founder

They are the brakes. You are not allowed to mock the brakes in front of the team. Pair with Activator so the car still moves.
